Rosołek - polish chicken broth - traditional and quick!
- A piece of chicken
- 1 large carrot cut into pieces
- 1 medium onion - the whole one should not fall apart
- [optional] Half a parsley (the white part of the root)
- 2 liters of water
- spices and herbs: 2 bay leaves, 3 allspice grains, pepper,
- 2 or 3 stock cubes
- "all season" seasoning
- Maggie
Everything into the pot - cook for at least 1 hour
Take out the onion and parsley - you can eat it with Maggie as an extra ;-)
add spices: a handful of parsley (green one) or/and fresh lovage, and dill - cook for another 5 minutes ...and the rosolek is made
TIP: first cook the pasta - in water with salt - then you can use the same pot for the rosolek
