Rosołek - polish chicken broth - traditional and quick!

  • ⁠A piece of chicken
  • 1 large carrot cut into pieces
  • ⁠1 medium onion - the whole one should not fall apart
  • ⁠[optional] Half a parsley (the white part of the root)
  • ⁠2 liters of water
  • ⁠spices and herbs: 2 bay leaves, 3 allspice grains, pepper,
  • 2 or 3 stock cubes
  •  ⁠"all season" seasoning
  • ⁠Maggie


Everything into the pot - cook for at least 1 hour


Take out the onion and parsley - you can eat it with Maggie as an extra ;-)

add spices: a handful of parsley (green one) or/and fresh lovage, and dill - cook for another 5 minutes ...and the rosolek is made


TIP: first cook the pasta - in water with salt - then you can use the same pot for the rosolek
